Instructions
You will also need: Tortilla Chips or other dippers, for serving
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Cook the creamed spinach to package directions.
When the creamed spinach is done, add it to an oven safe bowl, like a gratin dish, small pie dish, or small crock.
Top the creamed spinach with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle the top with a pinch of garlic powder and dried oregano.
Bake the Spinach dip
Place the gratin dish on a baking sheet. It makes it much easier to remove the hot dish from the oven
Bake the spinach dip for approximately 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the dip is bubbly around the edges.
If you would like to brown the top of the cheese a little bit, switch the oven to low-broil and cook for 45 seconds to 1 minute. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: If you decide to brown the cheese, make sure you turn on the oven light and do not leave the oven’s side.
As soon as the cheese reaches the desired color, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
Serve the spinach dip with tortilla chips or other dipper of choice.
