A Delicious way to make Pork Chops

This recipe combines the delicious flavors of French onion soup with juicy pork chops. It’s an easy one pan recipe that comes together in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Olive oil, boneless pork chops, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, butter, onion, flour, canned condensed French onion soup, chicken broth, provolone cheese.

1

Season and brown the chops on each side for 2-3 minutes. Remove them from the skillet, keep warm.

Do not wash or wipe the skillet. Add the butter and onions. Cook 2-3 minutes, stir frequently.

3

Next, add the flour to the sautéed onions. Cook 1-1½ minutes, stir almost constantly.

4

Add the French onion soup and chicken broth. Stir and gently scrape any bits in the skillet.

5

Place the pork chops back in the skillet. Cover and cook 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.

6

Lower the heat. Add a slice of cheese to each chop. Cover and cook 1-2 minutes or until melted.

7

Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite side dish. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired.
