Green Bean Chicken  Stir Fry

This stir fry makes a simple, delicious dinner. This is a quick meal with minimal prep and affordable ingredients.

Make the stir fry sauce: Combine water, cornstarch, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger powder, crushed red pepper. Stir well.

Heat oil in a large skillet/wok. Add the green beans and salt. Cook 3-4 min. over med-high heat. Toss often. Remove from skillet to a plate.

Heat 1-2 tbsp. of oil in the same skillet/wok over med-high heat. Add the chicken and ¼ tsp. salt. Arrange in a single layer, cook for 1–1½ min. until browned on the bottom.

Turn each piece and cook another 1–1½ min. until browned on both sides. Continue to cook for 2-3 min. until cooked through, stir almost constantly.

Add the green beans and stir fry sauce. Stir well. lower the heat to med-low, cook for 1-2 min. until the sauce thickens. Stir often. Taste, add salt if needed.

Serve the chicken and green beans with white rice, noodles or on its own. Garnish if desired.
